The Atlantic City Convention Hall Organ
A Pictorial Essay About the World’s Largest Pipe Organ
By Stephen D. Smith

PRICE: $45 - SALE PRICE $25

This cloth bound, large-format book (11.5"x13") contains 94 of the black and white photographs taken by Fred Hess & Son between 1929 and 1932, documenting the construction of the Midmer-Losh pipe organ. The photographs are beautifully reproduced in their original size (8"x10") and the instrument's historian, Stephen Smith, has provided detailed captions for each of them.

Among the many powerful images in this limited edition publication are: building and installing the Pedal organ's 64-foot rank; interior views of all eight pipe chambers; the three versions of the portable five-manual console; assembling the seven-manual console; individual pipes from various stops; equipment in some of the blower and relay rooms; plus many other intriguing scenes from this extraordinary instrument.
