This is a rare shot of the Console kiosk in its closed position. The two panels covering the actual console are doors that are opened and then removed. You will notice on the wall to the left the open control box for starting the various blowers of the organ. Below it is the original organ control box which in the famous Fred Hess photos is mounted on the apron of the stage. Since those original photos the stage has been extended further forward.
