The second [Floating] division of the Orchestral organ...will be placed in an independent swell box and so arranged that the registers contained therein may be used on either the orchestral or choir manuals by duplicate stop-tablets. The stops listed in the floating organ are largely timber creating and for the purpose of reinforcing the division upon which they may be drawn.

All the stops in the floating organ are to be mounted on unit chests. The Lieblich Flute, the Gedeckt, the Fernflote and the Twelfth is to be one unit. Special directions for the voicing of this stop will be given by the architect. The Clarabella shall be a clear flute tone of suitable body...halving on the twentieth note. The Claribel Flute will be derived by extension from the Clarabella. The Quintadena will be specially voiced so as to develop the Twelfth equally as strongly as the ground tone. The Gemshorn shall be characteristic of this stop. The composition of the Dulciana Mixture will be given later by the architect. The Double Bassett Horn...will be made with a double bell top and specially voiced under the direction of the architect.
